This covers this website and the waitlist. The app has its own privacy policy, which you’ll see before you use it.

What we keep when you join

• Your email address.
• When you joined, and which version of this notice you saw.
• How you found us: a link’s campaign tags (such as utm_source or ref) and the name of the website that sent you, never its full address.
• The country your connection came from, as a two-letter code from our host. Not your IP address.
• If you tell us: what you play for (piano major, teacher, adult learner or other) and your school.

What we don’t keep

Your IP address is used for a few minutes to stop automated sign-ups, and isn’t stored. The check keeps only a short scrambled code made from it, cleared after those minutes, the next time anyone joins. This site sets no cookies and has no ads, analytics or trackers, and no one else collects information about you here to follow you across other sites, so it works the same whether or not your browser sends Do Not Track.

What we do with it

We use your email only to tell you when Pianist AI is available, and to reply to you. We don’t sell it, share it for advertising or add it to anyone else’s list. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

Who handles it

Cloudflare hosts this site and stores the waitlist. Before we send the first email, we’ll name the email provider that sends it here.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or 12 months after Pianist AI is available where you live, whichever comes first.

Getting off the list

Email hello@novelhive.ai from the address you signed up with and we’ll delete it within 30 days. You can ask what we have about you the same way. We rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it anytime. If you’re in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Ages 13 and up

The waitlist, like the app, is for people 13 and older. If we learn that someone younger joined, we delete their email. Parents can write to hello@novelhive.ai.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we’ll email the waitlist before it takes effect.
